Spain, Beautiful Spain

In one year, I am getting married to Chema and moving to Barcelona, Spain. I just returned from another extended trip there and it was a great time. We went to a lot of different places, but probably the most interesting place we went was the island of Menorca in the middle of the Mediterranean. We were there for 5 days and it was awesome. If you've never been to the Mediterranean before, I highly recommend it. Here are just a few of the 2000 pics I took. Just a little sample of Menorca and my beautiful Chema.

The view from the balcony of the apartment we stayed in. Pretty beautiful. Huh?

Chema on the balcony looking in the other direction.

My EuroT.R.A.S.H. at the Lighthouse on the far northeast corner of the island. It's got a black rock lunar landscape where nothing grows because of the acidic content in the soil. Cool.

A very cool disco on the south side of the island that is built into the cliffs and has this amazing walkway down the side of the mountain.

A closer look at the walkway with Chema hugging the column. Hmmm, not sure why exactly.

Inside the part of the disco by the bar. We were there during the day, so that's why there are no people.

Inside the disco looking out. Over the balconies, you can see the waves crashing against the rocks below.

A deeper look inside the disco. Many of the booths are built directly into the rock.

Chema and I about to go to a friend's house for a party.

Chema at the party looking beautiful as usual.

An archeological site in the middle of the island. This is a table that was used for religious ceremonies and animal sacrificies over 4000 years ago. Very cool.

Inside one of the caves that was once a home and then became an underground crypt when the Romans came to the island almost 2000 years ago.

Off the island and back near the Costa Blanca in Denia. It's Chema, me and Mary Jo on top of the mountain ovelooking the city where there are the ruins of an old castle.
