Jowl Of The Day

Because of the Primary Elections held the other day, I figured a nice election Jowl would be appropriate. And no one deserves the Jowl Of The Day more than Ohio's crooked Secretary Of State who has just been chosen as the Republican candidate for the Governor's Office this year. For anyone who doesn't know who Blackwell is, he's the EXTREMELY corrupt man who is responsible for delivering Ohio (hence, the country) to Bush in 2004, thereby making sure he remained President.


"Like my halo of evil?"

Blackwell holds stock in Diebold (the electronic voting company that many states have switched to in recent years) and has massive conflicts of interest when it comes to his connection to them and the Ohio election system that he runs. He has been dubbed, "The Man Who Will Never Lose An Election" and he has proven that over and over again. He has been at, or near, the center of almost every major Ohio political corruption charge in the past decade and since he's been Secretary Of State, every election has been tainted with his stink. Without him and his connection to Diebold, there is a very good chance that we would have had another president in the White House right now.


Jowlpendous

Just like Washington at the moment, Ohio is almost completely run by Republicans and they have done everything possible to destroy whistle blowers and corruption investigations in their state. So far it's worked and as long as Blackwell is in charge of the Ohio election system, there is a good chance it will continue.
